HOW DOES THE HERITAGE RECOMMEND A FRIEND SCHEME WORK?

We’ve kept our recommend a friend scheme as simple as possible, so that it’s easy for you to recommend your friends and get rewarded. For every successful referral – one where your friend takes out a policy with us – we’ll give you £25. There’s no limit to the number of friends you can refer or the number of times you can be rewarded.

To get your recommend a friend reward, you don’t need to do anything – we’ll organise the payment one month after your friend’s policy goes live if they take out single vehicle insurance, or three months afterwards for multi car policies.

RECOMMEND A FRIEND TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The promotion

The promotion is called ‘Recommend A Friend’ and offers a reward for successfully referring a friend to us. The Reward is £25 to the Referrer for a successful single vehicle referral, and £25 each for the Referrer and Referred for a successful multi car referral.

A ‘successful referral’ is one that results in the sale of a Heritage insurance policy, either single vehicle or multi car, as a result of a referral by an existing customer.

This promotion is available to existing customers of Heritage Insurance Brokers from 1st June 2020 until further notice.

The reward

The reward for a successful single vehicle insurance referral is £25 cashback for the Referrer.

The reward for a successful multi car insurance referral is £25 cashback each for the Referrer and the Referred.

There is no option to exchange the reward for any alternative or substitute reward.

We will make a payment to customers eligible for a reward following a successful referral. The reward will become payable once the referred person’s policy with us has been in force for 30 days. Please note it may take us up to 3 weeks to process your payment depending on when in the month the policy was set up.

Qualification for the reward

For the Referrer to be eligible for the Reward:

  • The new Heritage insurance policy must be in force one month after the policy inception date
  • The policy must be fully paid up to date, either in full or by instalments.
  • We must have a record that the Referrer recommended the Referred to us. This may be through our Recommend a Friend referral link system, or because the Referred has given us the Referrer’s name.

How to claim

Customers eligible for a reward following a successful referral will be paid in the 3 weeks following the 30-day mark after the policy is confirmed. If you think you are eligible for a reward and you haven’t received it, please call us with your policy details and we will look into it for you.

General

You can make as many referrals as you like – there is no limit!

This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Amends to the reward scheme

Heritage Insurance Brokers reserves the right to withdraw this promotion if, in our judgement, the promotion is being abused. Heritage Insurance Brokers also reserves the right to change or amend the reward and the structure of the promotion at any time. Any decision made by Heritage Insurance Brokers with regards to this promotion is final.
