BENEFITS OF INSURING WITH HERITAGE
We know how important it is that your classic or modern Porsche has the cover it needs, whether it’s out on the open road or stored safely in the garage. With a Heritage specialist Porsche insurance policy, you’ll receive a range of benefits as standard, so you can be confident that your car has the cover it needs.
Retain the salvage of your vehicle for repair or parts if it gets written off. With salvage retention written into your specialist car insurance policy you can keep the salvage in the event of a total loss, provided your car isn’t deemed ‘end of life’.
Multi car cover
Our flexible multi car cover allows you to put your classic and performance cars on one policy alongside your daily drives and any other vehicles you own. You could also save up to 25% on your premium, with no limit on the number of vehicles you can include.
European driving cover
If you like to take your Porsche to the continent, Heritage can cover you for up to 90 days of travel in Europe as standard, across any number of trips. This can be extended up to 180 days according to your needs.
COVER CAN ALSO INCLUDE:
- European breakdown cover and home start
- Glass cover
- Replacement locks cover
- Audio and sat nav equipment cover
- Free agreed value for classics
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS HERITAGE CAN PROVIDE
If you need breakdown cover, or want motor legal insurance in case of a claim, we offer a range of helpful options for you to add to your policy if you so wish. Ask about our prestige package which combines some of the most popular optional extras for a saving.
Heritage motor legal
Protect yourself against legal difficulties you might have due to an incident on the road. You’ll have cover of up to £100,000 for any legal costs involved in claiming against an uninsured driver, as well as injury compensation claims and recovering uninsured losses.
Our road rescue cover will rescue you and your vehicle if you breakdown or your vehicle can’t be driven. This policy provides UK roadside repair and national recovery, including alternative transport and overnight accommodation if needed. You also get key assist in the event of lost keys or lock failure.
Personal accident cover
Our personal accident cover provides cover for up to £50,000 for bodily injury or death for you and your spouse, common law or civil partner. The policy covers you whilst either of you are driving your insured vehicle, or whilst you are a passenger in another vehicle.
YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
This may affect your insurance, so it’s important to notify us of the storage address.
You can insure a car before you buy it, but you ideally should have at least committed in writing to make the purchase, or paid a deposit. You can set insurance to start from the date you collect or take delivery of the vehicle.
There are various mileage limit options available, up to 7,500 miles. If you set a lower limit and want to extend it mid-term, this can be arranged; just give us a call (before you reach your mileage limit as this may affect your policy).
Driving other cars cover is not included in a classic or specialist car insurance policy; generally, you would already have this with your standard car insurance. If you are unsure, check your Certificate of Motor Insurance for the ‘Driving Other Cars’ wording.
Our multi car insurance does cover you to drive other cars but only if you are over 25 and your everyday cars are on cover with Heritage Insurance Services. The other car you wish to drive must be insured in its own right, not owned by you as the policyholder, and for emergency use only.
