FREE AGREED VALUE ON CLASSICS
If your 4×4 is a classic, say a Series Land Rover, an early Jimny or Land Cruiser, you can get agreed value on your policy completely free.
With agreed value in place, if you have to make a total loss claim you’ll know exactly what the insurance payout will be, and you won’t be subject to market rates at the time of the claim.
MODIFICATIONS WELCOME
While not everyone’s cup of tea, modifications are common with a lot of 4x4s and we don’t shy away from covering these. Let us know what you’ve got and we’ll quote you accordingly – it’s important to be accurate to make sure your insurance stays valid.
Our modified 4×4 cover is designed specifically for vehicles being used for off roading and green laning, not for standard road use.

IS MY 4X4 A CLASSIC?
Not sure if your 4×4 is a classic? It’s not all down to age – sometimes a classic can be newer but qualify for specialist cover for other reasons. To qualify for specialist vehicle insurance, traditional classic or otherwise, your 4×4 will usually need not to be your main vehicle and be doing under 5,000 miles a year. If you’re not sure, give us a call and one of our insurance advisers will happily discuss it with you.

4x4s can be at more risk of being targeted for theft, which is why we find a lot of our 4×4-owning customers take us up on our exclusive offer of a free Skytag GPS tracker unit. The tracker activates whenever the vehicle moves outside the zone you designate, and live data can be shared with the police in the event of theft, to aid in a speedy recovery.

SAVE UP TO 25% WITH MULTI CAR COVER
Do you own multiple vehicles aside from your classic or modified 4×4? With Heritage multi car insurance, you can cover all your vehicles on one policy, with one insurance premium and one renewal date.
There’s no limit to the number of vehicles you can add to your multi car policy, whether it’s a modern run-around, camper or motorcycle. You can also add up to five named drivers to your policy.

That’s why we offer a range of additional cover options at great prices. From road rescue and a hire car to get you out of a breakdown fix, to motor legal cover in case of legal difficulties, these are the little things that make a big difference. You can pick whichever ones suit your needs, or choose our package option, which combines the most popular extra cover types for an even better price.
Road rescue
Our road rescue cover will rescue you and your vehicle if you breakdown or your vehicle can’t be driven. This policy provides UK roadside repair and national recovery, including alternative transport and overnight accommodation if needed. You also get key assist in the event of lost keys or lock failure.
Heritage motor legal
Protect yourself against legal difficulties you might have due to an incident on the road. You’ll have cover of up to £100,000 for any legal costs involved in claiming against an uninsured driver, as well as injury compensation claims and recovering uninsured losses.
Replacement courtesy car
Road traffic accidents can be difficult to manage, especially if your car suffers severe damage. If you’re involved in a road traffic accident, we’ll arrange a courtesy car for you so that you can get you back on the road.
