Prescott Speed Hill Climb 2017

On Saturday the 30th of September we sent one of our Heritage enthusiasts to investigate what all the fuss is about. And what a day out he had!

Prescott Speed Hill Climb

If you’ve ever been for a day out at a classic hill climb event then you’ll know how exhilarating it can be, with beautiful cars through time speeding up twisted roads and round hairpin corners. It really is a sight for any car enthusiast young or old.

The Prescott Autumn Classic speed hill climb is part of the Classic weekend celebrating the all American Stars and Stripes tribute to our American cousins with their big brash automobiles. The entertainment included Vegas show girls to the Demon Drome death riders performing amazing stunts defying gravity in the World’s oldest Wall of Death.

Of course the main event of the weekend was the Prescott Speed Hill Climb with a vast array of classic and modern contenders throughout the day pitting their wits against the famous Hill Climb circuit. Cars competed for the TVR & TR Championships on Saturday along side saloons,

sports cars and single seaters driven by members of the Bugatti Owners Club. Sunday saw the action from the 500 Owners Association as well as Morgans, Austin Healey’s and Bentleys all competing in the hill climb.

The event also hosts a dedicated ‘show n shine’ for American vehicle owners and some hot rockin bands for all music lovers so if you missed this year’s event be sure to book for next  year.
