The Original Land Rover Show at Kelmarsh (and 70 Ferraris)

Last weekend, we were at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire for The Original Land Rover Show.

The weekend was a one-stop shop for Land Rover enthusiasts, with action-packed arena events, products and services and, of course, thousands of Land Rovers to look at and learn about.

In its first year at the exciting new location (formerly located at Billing Aquadrome), the event is now bigger, with more displays, more camping and more attractions, in a stunning spot of natural beauty.

Skytag GPS Tracker Units

We were at the show in conjunction with Skytag, who produce high-tech GPS systems to provide increased security and aid with vehicle recovery following thefts.

Skytag GPS tracker units are worth £250 and provide a proven and comprehensive vehicle recovery system with a record-breaking recovery time and you can get one free if you take out a policy with Heritage Classic Car Insurance.

The event

We are delighted to have attended the show in its first year at Kelmarsh Hall and chat with all the other enthusiasts. Land Rovers are simply the greatest of all 4x4s and go straight to the heart of their owners, so here’s to next year for an even bigger and better event.

Busy on Friday?

If you are in or near Birmingham on Friday July 28th, look out for a parade of 70 Ferraris!

A convoy of the iconic vehicles are set to drive through the city centre, lining-up at Victoria Square between 12.30pm-4pm to celebrate Ferrari’s 70th anniversary.

After Birmingham, this summer’s 70th Anniversary Tour will move on to Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh.

Amongst the parade will be the Limited Series LaFerrari Aperta, of which only 200 will ever be sold. There will also be demonstrator cars among the collection and people can sit inside, take photos and talk to Ferrari specialists.

If you would like to talk to an insurance specialist too, call us today on 0121 248 9304.
