Heritage introduces improved home insurance cover for classic car owners

Made with Classic Owners in Mind

Heritage is now able to offer improved cover on home insurance policies for classic car owners, including insuring up to £10,000 worth of motor memorabilia.

The extended offering has been negotiated with selected insurers especially for customers with classic cars, and extends the value of memorabilia that can be covered, as well as covering spare and dismantled car parts and accessories.

‘Many of our classic car owning customers are also enthusiastic collectors of motor memorabilia, or like to repair and modify their own cars, so they’re likely to have spare parts that also need protection against theft or damage,’ said Andy McDonald, Underwriting and Product Development Manager at Heritage. ‘We’re really pleased to have arranged this improvement to our home insurance policy offering to make sure our customers are fully covered for the things that matter to them.’

The classic car owner home insurance policy can also cover motor memorabilia that the driver has with them while on a motor tour anywhere in the UK and Europe, plus increased personal belongings cover while on tour. This is particularly helpful for drivers who like to purchase memorabilia at shows and want to make sure it’s covered between purchase and taking it home.
