A PARTRIDGE IN A PEAR TREE – WOODEN CARS

For a partridge in a pear tree we’ve got the Morgan 4/4. We’ve made the link here as the 4/4’s frame is crafted from wood even to this day. Unfortunately, it’s not made of pear tree timber but is actually made with ash wood.

THREE FRENCH HENS – FRENCH CARS

Three French hens are rumoured to be referring to the Faverolle breed of chicken which are known for their quiet and docile temperament. To apologise for that nearly useless fact on chickens here are three French classics.

Birds of a feather flock together, which is why we’ve compiled a list of cars named after birds for the fourth day of Christmas.

And on the seventh day we come to seven swans-a-swimming, an animal famously owned by the queen. The Monarch’s ownership of swans is an actual law passed by Edward IV, titled: The Act for swan’s. EIGHT MAIDS A-MILKING – MILK & FOOD VANS

Electric vehicles might be coming into fashion now but they have been around for decades in the form of milk-floats. Some of the earliest milk-float were used in the 1940’s made by companies such as Midland Electric Vehicles.
