Very good customer support with a 1 to 1 manager looking after things. This is the first time i have used Heritage and i am very impressed with their knowledge of the market place. It feels like you are dealing with like minded people and not a voice on the end of the telephone trying just to make a sale.

I have insured my classic car with these guys for many years now and have received good service from them in the past.

This year, however, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received and have begrudgingly given 2 starts, because after many phone calls, I did eventually get what I paid for!

I renewed my classic car policy on "agreed" value and was told that the company used previously was no longer available, but was provided with a quote from different company. I asked that the value be increased by 10% and was asked to provide 6 photos and mileage confirmation, which I did. This chap was going to be my personal contact from now on! Quoted a near 50% increase in premium and over 300% increase in excess from last year!! Ouch! Maybe the previous company has gone out of business!

Paperwork received by email and filed.

Some 3 1/2 weeks later, I remembered that I had not heard about my agreed value and called Heritage up. Checked my "paperwork" and my vehicle was only insured for "market value". OK, so I paid a stonking increase in premium and nearly 1/12 of my insurance period has passed and I have not been given the cover I had paid for? Spoke to another agent, who said he would sort it and call me back later, which he did and said the company was looking at it and would call back . Following day, I rang again and was told that it can take up to 4 weeks for the agreed value process to complete. Really, so for a whole 12th of my cover, I am not going to get the service I have paid for! Why was this not explained to me at the time I took out the insurance ? I would have rattled more cages sooner!

So, should be sorted by the end of the day "just need your mileage". All this has been provided when I took out the policy. "oh, must be on the other chap's email system then".

Called again, later that day and was told that there was a problem withe mileage, which needed sorting. Apparently, LAST year's mileage had been sent to the company and they thought I was (presumably) trying to pull a fast one!

Anyway after another phone call, it was all sorted.

The process was a complex one in my case as it included 2 cars and 5 drivers with added track day cover, however all was concluded smoothly and satisfactorily. I am happy with the outcome and the price was competitive too.

Very good communication,All sorted with one visit,I have started with one motor and will add others as the Insurances run out, If of course the premium as stated in our discussions, beats the existing.I like the thought of one renewal date, and payment each year.
